Q.

Do I have to look at all the properties available to find the one I want?

A.

"No. Our property search allows you to select certain criteria that you are looking for in a property. For example, you will be able to find properties that are within locations of your choice in a specified price range."

Q.

I have found a property that I wish to buy. What do I need to do now?

A.

"If you have not registered with us you will need to do so first. Once registered you can then arrange to view the property and make an offer online. Alternatively you may contact your local Your Move estate agency branch. "

How can I locate my nearest YOUR MOVE branch?

A.

"To find your nearest branch of Your Move estate agents all you have to do is use our branch directory. This allows you to search either by region, place name or postcode."

I cannot log into my My Move file

A.

"If your account has been inactive for 90 days you will have received a warning informing you that your account will be deleted in 30 days time. If you have not logged in during these 30 days your account will have been deleted."

How do I log into My Move file once I've registered?

A.

"Click the 'My Move' tab on the above navigation bar of the site and enter your username and password."

Q.

I've found a property using the Property Search but when I log into my My Move file it's not there, why?

A.

"To view properties found on a property search in your My Move file, log in to your file and make sure your search requirements match those you used in the property search. You can check and amend your buying requirements by clicking the 'amend search' icon."

Q.

How do I amend my details/buying requirements/search criteria?

A.

"Enter My Move file and click 'amend search' icon"

How do I amend my price range?

A.

"Enter your My Move file and click the 'amend search' icon, you can then reselect a price range."

Q.

Why aren't my property photos on the website yet?

A.

"All property details must comply with the PMA, you will have the chance to check them, once you've approved them your property can appear on the website."

Q.

I am always being returned to the login page and when I do get into my My Move file I am returned to the login page.

Usernames and Passwords

Q.

Can I change my password?

A.

"Yes, you can change it to something more memorable while you are logged into your My Move file - there's a button at the top of the screen."

Q.

Can I change my username?

A.

"Yes, you can change your username (email address) whilst logged into your My Move file by clicking the 'amend search' button, change your email address and submit. We will send you an email immediately containing a new password."

Q.

I've forgotten my password, what do I do?

A.

"You can click the link on the My Move log in page, enter your username and an email will be sent immediately containing your password.

The Moving Process

Q.

How much can I borrow and how much will a mortgage cost?

A.

"For your mortgage queries you can use our Mortgage Calculator. This will give you a guide on how much you can borrow.

You can consult one of our Financial Advisors, by contacting your local YOUR MOVE branch. The Financial Advisor will be able to assist you and help you to select a mortgage that is appropriate for you from our panel of lenders.

I am not buying a property from YOUR MOVE, can I still apply for a mortgage through you?

A.

"Yes, you can book an appointment to see one of our Financial Advisors and arrange a mortgage through us even if you are not buying or selling through us."

I am unsure as to the process of house buying or selling. Can you please explain it to me?

A.

"All the information you need can be found in our guides section, go to
moving services and click guides or click the link below for our Moving Checklist. Alternatively you can either contact your local branch or email us with any queries."
