History Of The Property

Dating back to 1875 the Chapel was built from locally sourced stone by Captain Henry Fieldon who in his role as the Reverend for the Chapel did lots of charity work for the area. The building was used in the Second World War as a refuse for soldiers when the nearby station was a busy passenger route (now disused). The property is not listed and was bought again in the 1950's and has been brought back to life over time with additional building work and land added. In the garden the property boasts one of only two remaining original Victorian Summer Houses left in Derbyshire!
