The results are part of Your Move’s latest research of more than 5,000 respondents, providing insights into the typical UK home buying process. The figures come as Your Move announces that last February was the estate agency’s busiest month for viewings booked on your-move.co.uk. In February they were 10% higher than January, March or April, 15-20% higher than the summer months and 55% higher than December.
Oliver Blake, Managing Director at Your Move commented:
Even though some homeowners are lucky enough to fall in love with the first or second property they view, the majority take more time to make an offer on the perfect home. The results of our survey show that many home buyers are rightly being careful about making one of the most important financial decisions of their life.
“February is typically the busiest month of the year in terms of online viewings being booked for Your Move and could be good news for those looking to sell their properties now.”
