Cycle to Work Day sees hundreds of people pledging to take part and is supported by television presenter, Denise Van Outen.

Hopefully your cycle to work won't be a one-off, so you'll need to think about where you store your bike at home to make it easy to get it out and put it away securely every day. If you have to lug your bike up and down loads of stairs every day it's going to put you off cycling to work.
Inside your house is probably the safest place, but you need to make sure it isn't going to be in everyone's way. There are lots of shelves and hooks available to hang your bike from to keep it off the floor in a hallway or spare bedroom. For outside, if you haven't got a secure garage then you can buy all shapes and sizes of bike shed to suit the outdoor space you have available.
