How might Pep Guardiola spend his new £300,000-a-week wage?

Yesterday we learned that Pep Guardiola will replace Manuel Pellegrini as the manager of Manchester City. When he moves to the Ethiad from Bayern Munich in the summer, Guardiola's salary will raise to a whopping £15.2million - that's almost £300K a week! So how might he spend his first weeks' pay cheque?

Week 1's wages

Pep will be looking for somewhere with a short commute to the club, big enough for his wife and three kids. Maybe one of these will suit...

Duchess Drive, Audenshaw, Manchester | £299,950

4 bedroom detached house

There's loads of bright space in this sizeable house in Audenshaw. With contemporary decor, a modern fitted kitchen and two kid's bedrooms ready and waiting, the Guardiola family will be able to settle straight away without having to do any work to the place. There's also a huge garden for keepy-uppy practice.

Swanlow Lane, Winsford | Guide Price £300,000

5 bedroom detached house

If Pep and his wife are looking for something a bit more traditional, maybe this five bed house in Winsford will suit. It boasts a sun-trap conservatory and four bathrooms! The low maintenance back-yard is perfect for the businessman with too much time for gardening, but who likes to invite the lads round in the summer for barbecued ribs and paella.

Week 2's wages

Now that the Guardiola's have found their permanent family residence, week two's wages can be well spent on the classic British summer residence - a country home ideal for getting away from it all. How about one of these...

Invergordon | Offers in the region of £300,000

6 bedroom house

28 miles from Inverness, this property is perfect for getting away from the stress of the Premier League. It's a C-listed home that dates back to 1798, but has been maintained to a high standard. It includes 1.80 hectares of land and a tennis court.

Old Pump House Tomich, Invergordon | Offers in the region of £295,000

6 bedroom detached house

If Pep find that his £15.2 million salary still leaves him a bit short at the end of each month, perhaps this bed and breakfast on a popular tourist route will be a savvy investment. The spiral staircase is a lovely feature, and the games room is great for keeping the kids entertained.

Hill Foot Cottage, Cark in Cartmel, Grange-Over-Sands | £300,000

5 bedroom semi detached house

If the Invergordon properties above are a little too secluded, maybe the Guardiola's will prefer the amenities of this semi-rural south lakeland property. It features enclosed gardens, a conservatory, two en-suites and some attractive period details.
