Private Rented Property Licensing

Newham Council have recently introduced the Licensing of all privately rented properties. This means that if you rent out a residential property in Newham you will need to apply for a license for every property you own.

The leaflet below provides details of how to apply, what information you will need to give, how long it will take, and how much it will cost. Please note you will need to have the measurement of all the rooms as this forms a  mandatory part of the application

Newham have recently extended the deadline to register to qualify for the discounted rate of £150 to the end of January 2013 but from February 2013 the cost will increase to £500

You must apply before the end of January 2013 to take advantage of their early application discounted fee

The leaflet also provides the contact details of Newham Council - click the image to see it full size.
