As we’re sure all you cycling fanatics already know, Sunday saw the start of the Aviva Tour of Britain cycle race, the UK’s highest ranked cycle race that sees some of the big names in cycling taking part, including Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish. The race takes in eight stages across one week, starting in North Wales and finishing in Central London. Details of the stages are as follows:
Stage One (6th September): Beaumaris to Wrexham
Stage Two (7th September): Clitheroe to Colne
Stage Three (8th September): Cockermouth to Kelson
Stage Four (9th September): Edinburgh to Blyth
Stage Five (10th September): Prudhoe to Hartside
Stage Six (11th September): Stoke to Nottingham
Stage Seven (12th September): Fakenham to Ipswich
Stage Eight (13th September): Central London
