It once had a very famous owner too. It was once the property of William Pitt the Younger, Britain's Prime Minister between 1759 and 1806. Pitt was best known for leading Britain in the great wars against France and Napoleon.

It's standing by a stroke of luck. The two adjoining properties were bombed during World War II, killing a priest and a spinster.
