# Your Move Margate are taking part in a charity skydive

Juliette and Patrick from Your Move in Margate are jumping out of an aeroplane on the 14th April.

   ![Dog sleeping on a bed](https://www.your-move.co.uk/uploads/blog_post/12_1181_s.jpg?v=52763) Our brave colleagues Juliette and Patrick from the [Your Move Margate](/branch/233) branch are jumping 15,000 feet out of an aeroplane on the 14th April and all for a good cause.

They are bravely raising money for the charity, The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, with any funds raised going to the charity to help to train a guide dog puppy. After 24 months of training a fully-qualified guide dog will give freedom and independence to someone with visual impairment or sight loss.

## Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives. Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
