July 2017 - Scottish rental yields continue to perform strongly
Average Scottish rental property lets for £569 a month.
Rental prices have risen 1.8% in a year.
Typical yield on Scottish property was 4.9% in June, much higher than majority of England and Wales.

Landlords in Scotland continue to enjoy strong returns on their investment, Your Move Scotland has found.
While yields across much of England and Wales have been squeezed in the last 12 months, landlord returns in Scotland have remained solid. The average property in the country returns 4.9% to investors, exactly the same as a year ago.
Rents have continued to rise across many areas of Scotland. The average rent in Scotland is now £569 per month - 1.8% higher than a year ago.
