My thanks to Henry, Sharon and the team from Your Move Walderslade. From October 2025 I had been looking for a 3-4 bed property within one mile of the schools on Walderslade Road. Although we looked at 15-20 properties we hadn’t found any that stood out and felt right. We had already sold and was on all of the Walderslade Village estate agents property lists looking to purchase. Then in December Henry who had attended several viewings with us called to say they had an auction property just coming on the market and letting me know based on what we had said we were looking for, it would be worth a look. We were sent all the documents via the IAM-Sold auction team and the viewing went ahead. Henry was right, it was worth viewing and despite needing modernisation had a reflective guide price and quickly became our desired property. We continued looking at other properties as the auction date was not until a month away. We had a second viewing facilitated by Henry just prior to the auction closing. I submitted a bid reflective of the property condition and then on auction day was the successful bidder We have just been for a third viewing, this time with contractors and to measure up so we can get started as soon as contracts are exchanged. Although we have quite a bit of modernisation to do, we are looking forward to the challenge and are thankful to Henry for thinking of us and highlighting this opportunity when it was coming to the market.
