  • You could find that you're unable to keep up with repayments on a mortgage or secured loan for the property. You also risk incurring legal costs if you need to gain possession of your property.

Fully Managed or Rent Collection Landlord Service Customers

For landlords who have chosen the Your Move Fully Managed or Rent Collection lettings service Your Move offer this optional cover exclusively from their underwriter Aviva:

Rent Protection

100% of monthly rent for up to 15 months of the contract (subject to a maximum amount of £35,000) if your tenant defaults.

Legal Expenses

Up to £50,000 legal expenses to pay for costs arising from regaining possession of your property.

Alternative Accommodation

If you wish to move into the property then the cost of accommodation for you and your family (up to £100 per day) is paid for up to 30 days.

Automated Claims

If the rent becomes overdue they will automatically process a claim and credit your account. You do not need to take any action to log a claim or complete any paperwork.

Tenant Find Landlord Service Customers

For landlords who have chosen the Your Move Tenant Find lettings service Your Move Insurance Services offer this optional cover exclusively from their provider ARC Legal Assistance:

Rent Protection

Up to £1,250 monthly rent for up to 6 months of the contract if your tenant defaults.

Legal Expenses*

Legal expenses paid for costs arising from regaining possession of your property from a tenant.

Squatters*

Funds paid to evict squatters who have gained unlawful access to your property.

Rent paid while you restore your property

If there is damage to the property which must be repaired before the property can be re-let, then 50% of the rent will be paid for up to three months.

A 24 hour advisory service for any legal or tax problem of concern to you relating to the property you are insuring.
