Why move to Keynsham?

Keynsham is a town and parish located between Bristol and Bath. It is a popular town for the young and old alike. It has everything to offer to suit daily needs without the need to travel further afield.

Location

The town centre offers everything from riverside walks and quality fishing spots to plenty of sports facilities, such as tennis courts and a very popular leisure centre, which has both a swimming pool and gymnasium.

Schools

Keynsham is an ideal town for families and is served by several nurseries and pre-schools, as well as some fantastic infant schools and two well regarded secondary schools.

History

The site of the town has been occupied since prehistoric times and is believed to be the site of a large Roman settlement. The Anglican Parish Church of Keynsham was built circa 1270, however, in 1632 the spire collapsed and was replaced by a new bell tower at the western side of the church.

Transport

The town is served by Keynsham Railway Station and a Park and Ride which is situated on the A4 in nearby Brislington.
