Keynsham is a market town situated approximately half way between the cities of Bristol and Bath, with access to both the M4 and M5 motorways. A one bedroom flat would start from a realistic £120,000, three bedroom houses range from £170,000 to £300,000 and four bedrooms semi detached houses start from £300,000 rising to detached homes at £500,000. Property in the local countryside ranges from £450,000 upwards.

Keynsham is a popular town for the young and old alike, with everything on offer to suit daily needs thereby eliminating the need to travel further afield. Families are attracted to the town by the reputation of the schools. The attractive park which runs through the centre of the town offers riverside walks, fishing, bowls and tennis courts. There is a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym. Keynsham railway station provides a commuter link to both Bristol and Bath making it an ideal area for the professional couple.

Keynsham has for many years been a popular residential area. The town offers Period houses, but was largely developed in the 1950/60s. In contrast, the town is now undergoing development with two large developers currently providing new homes in the area ranging from flats to executive houses.

As one of Keynsham's most popular Estate Agents, Your Move Williams Rose has flats and houses in the town and surrounding areas/villages beyond. The most popular houses are the bay fronted 1950's style classic 3 bedroom semis, on what is often referred to as the 'Wellsway side of town'.

Prices to rent in Keynsham for a 1 bedroom apartment would be £550 to £570 pcm rising to £650 to £695 pcm for a 2 bed apartment, with houses starting from £750 pcm.

Keynsham is well served with supermarkets, these include, Tesco, Waitrose, Iceland, and soon to be opened Sainsburys. There are ASDA and Tesco Superstores, B&Q, Homebase and Wickes, within 2/3 miles, along with a variety of places to eat.

Keynsham has its own football and rugby clubs. Tennis courts, a bowling green, a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym. There is a Marina, and fishing available along the banks of the River Chew. The Keynsham Light Opera Group stage regular shows.

The well kept, attractive Keynsham Park is the host to the annual Keynsham Music Festival. Whilst the Winter Festival (switching on the Christmas lights etc) held at the end of November has become a popular event with street stalls and fair rides.
