Why move to Skelmersdale?

Skelmersdale – or Skem, as it’s affectionately known by locals is a New Town, built in the 1960s and is developed in and around the original small town of Skelmersdale and reaches towards the surrounding areas of Upholland and Roby Mill. The area has excellent transport links due it its close proximity to the M58 and M6 motorway and rail links from Upholland to Manchester and Liverpool.
