Strood is a town in the north-west of Kent and the south-east of England more generally. Settlement in Strood dates back to at least the Roman period, and was later the source of an attack on Rochester Castle. Modern-day Strood is a busy town featuring a range of independent and high-street retailers. Growing families will be well-served by the range of schools in the area, whilst young professionals will be pleased by the less than an hour commute to London from the town.
