A big thank you to all at Your Move Hitchin Estate Agents...
My Mother recently sold her house that she had lived in for 35+ years through Your Move Hitchin. I wrote to them to thank them for the amazing service my Mother and I received from them from start to finish. Here is the letter I wrote. "Dear Linda, Robert and Peter, I would like to take this opportunity to write to you, so that I can wholeheartedly say a massive thank you regarding your truly expert handling of the sale of my Mother's house. As sole agents we couldn't have wished for a better estate agent than Your Move, Hitchin. At first we didn't consider having a sole agent to sell my Mother's house as you know. Once the chosen agents had visited my Mother and explained their service and how they operate, then when Rob took those stunning property photos, we knew that all three of you stood head and shoulders above any other estate agent we had encountered in Hitchin. My Mother and I agreed that it would have been counter productive to have sold her house on a 2 agent basis. Your Move were appointed, rightly so, as sole agents. It was one of the best decisions we've made. Rob, you came back early one beautiful summer morning to take more photographs, so that you could capture the full beauty of my Mum's house and the fabulous elevated views from it of Windmill Hill. The initial photos you took were easily as good as any professional photographer could have taken. They were perfect. But, oh my, the second lot of the outside ones you took that summer morning took my breath away! With the vibrant blue sky and early sunshine as the backdrop, they leapt off the Rightmove website. I'm guessing not many, if any other agent would have gone that extra mile and act on their instinct like you did. Needless to say, it worked. My Mother's house sold within a short time of Your Move Hitchin being instructed as sole agent to sell it and within several days I recall, from when Rob's summer morning photos went online. Peter, I would like to thank you for carrying out the property viewings so professionally. My Mother told me how you were approachable, friendly, courteous, competent and informative to both her and the people who visited to view her house. Indeed, you showed the buyers of her house around on a Saturday. My Mother told me that you were talking with them after their viewing for some time. Nothing was too much trouble for you, even on a weekend. Huge thanks Peter, that extra time you gave them helped to secure the house sale. Linda, you too have been magnificent also. (My Mother's description). You totally kept both solicitors on track. Fielded what seemed like endless questions and absolutely got my Mother through her house sale. You really were a solid rock that kept everything going in the right direction. You were always so approachable, competent, experienced and calm. All three of you have been superb throughout my Mother's house sale process from start to finish. Rob explained to me how he had carefully arrived at the price the property was to go on the market for. This needed such careful thought as my Mother's house is unique. It's detached and not on an estate, so no real comparables exist. My Mother and I truly feel that Your Move estate agent Hitchin branch, really do the right thing for their clients, the sellers and their buyers. Anyone can sell a property if they under value it. Your Move Hitchin evidently made sure that my Mother's house went on the market at a fair and justified price. I wish all estate agents had your ethical stance. Thank you. When I called the office in the early days, if the three of you weren't there, my call was answered by Your Move's lettings staff. They too always introduced themselves clearly on the phone, took messages and never forgot to pass on exactly what I had asked to be relayed to one of you.
