Location
Scotney Way is situated in Thrapston's `Lazy Acre` Estate. It is a quiet cul de sac with park views in a very family friendly area. Thrapston is a popular East Northamptonshire market charter town, that is well serviced both with amenities and schools. It has excellent road links and beautiful countryside walks. The River Nene and Thrapston Lakes are very popular with the boating type and dog walkers alike. Thrapston 'had' two schools, Thrapston Primary and King John Middle, which together served Nursery to Year 8. However, in 2015, East Northamptonshire changed to a two-tier school system resulting in Thrapston Primary expanding into what was the King John building, to accommodate years 5 and 6. Following this, children usually go to Prince William School in Oundle.
