Nestled at almost an equal distance in between Warrington, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool, Frodsham is a ‘hidden gem’ that’s often passed by by those who don’t know how charming the town they're passing is. Well linked to the cities surrounding, this is an ideal spot for commuters looking for the more peaceful pace of town life, whilst working in the surrounding cities.

The Cheshire town is centred around Main Street, the widest main street in Britain. The market, which is held each Thursday, is one of the oldest in Britain, and has lost of wonderful stalls selling wonderul, unique local produce.

Famous Frodsham sons include Gary Barlow, whos Mum still lives in town, and James Bond actor Daniel Craig. Other notable ex inhabitants include William Charles Cotton, who introduced bee keeping to New Zealand in the 1800's!

There are thirteen pubs in the town in which to enjoy a quiet pint, and there are lots of lovely restaurants to dine in. Next Door is a restaurant which was opened in and steeped in local history. The building, a 17th century timber frame cottage, previously housed a butchers shop for three generations of Vicki’s family before being turned in to the stylish and upmarket restaurant it is today.  The menu includes local delicacies including Cheshire Pork, serves with chestnut, pear, sprout tops and mash, and Vanilla Panna Cotta served with drunken prunes and Cheshire Honeycomb.

There are lots of things to do in Frodsham, including Manley Mere, which is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and is a great place to visit if you are looking for a fun-filled day out. There’s also the original Sandstone Trail, which is a walk which spans over 11 miles.
