" I am sad to leave my stunning home, as I am relocating due to work.
I fell in love with the neighbourhood of Woolwich and the development during its construction phase in 2017, and I bought the property off-plan. This guaranteed that I could pick the best flat in the building.
It has south & west facing corner location, so it is really bright; it has ample storage with a huge storage cupboard - rarely seen in flats like this, and it has the biggest balcony on the development, which is great for entertaining or for al-fresco dining.
My favourite area however is the open-plan kitchen/ diner/ living room, which can accommodate changing needs as and when they come up. I don’t know how we would have coped with the lockdown, if we didn’t have enough space in the flat to have it become a gym and an office, but still be spacious enough to comfortably accommodate the living and dining area.
In addition, the flat has the perfect layout in the other areas of the property too, with two spacious double bedrooms and two good-sized bathrooms, one of them being an en-suite.
We used both bedrooms as double bedroom, the second being the ideal accommodation for guests; however, it is easily big enough for kids.
I believe this could be the ideal home for either a first-time buyer, or even a growing family, as the development is a really nice mixture of young professionals, and families with young kids.
We’ve also been really lucky with our neighbours; they are the type of kind people you can ask any favours from (get your delivery, water your plants while on holiday, or just ask for some sugar if you run out when baking a cake).
The location couldn’t be better either, as it is only 5-7 mins walk from the DLR and train station, but it is really quiet, which would allow you to unwind after a long day of work.
The property also benefits from a secure, allocated parking space below the building.
The Crossrail is expected to open in a year or two, which will significantly reduce the travel times to Canary Wharf, the City and Central London & beyond.
