Whitton is lovely family town full of history, if you know where to look for it, and is located in the London Borough of Richmond in the suburbs of west London.
The main focus of Whitton is its High Street, which is one of the best-preserved 1930s high streets in London. The most common type of housing in the area is 1930s detached and semi-detached housing. Whitton lies on the A316 road, which leads to central London and the M3 motorway, and has its own railway station on the line from London Waterloo to Windsor As a mainly residential area in outer London, many residents commute to Central London which takes approx 27 minutes.
Whitton appeals to young professionals who wish to feel a part of the hussle and bussle of central London living but with benefits of living in suburbia. Whitton also has a wonderful selection of over achieving schools and is recognised by the Ombudsman scheme. The extensive selection of schools in the area make it extremely popular with young families also.
