Be happy …

The property portal, Rightmove, has recently announced the names of the happiest places to live in the UK and, perhaps not surprisingly, the conclusion is that living in rural and coastal areas and feeling part of the community, in particular, are key contributors to happiness.
The ‘Happy At Home’ index, which was conducted amongst 21,000 people, based its findings on a number of factors including whether the respondents feel they belong in the area they live, the friendliness of others living there and on what local activities and amenities exist.
Top of the list of the 20 most happy places came St Ives in the South West followed by Skipton, Leamington Spa, Llandrindod Wells, Perth, Kendal, Stratford-upon Avon, Dorchester, Harrogate, Richmond upon Thames, Falmouth, Hexham, Weymouth, Shrewsbury, Tonbridge, Plymouth, Poole, Northwich, Barnstaple and then Guildford.
So, if you are looking for some happiness, why not take a look at the selection of properties we’ve put together that are currently for sale in a few of these happy places remembering that, as a national agent, we’ll do our best to find your dream home, wherever it may be. The Kinclaven design has long been coveted by buyers on this exclusive development as it shares fairytale looks with wonderful flexible family accommodation. This particular Kinclaven, being a later construction benefits from higher ceiling heights and enhanced design features which can be explained to viewers. The property is approached to a sweeping driveway with 2 access points. On entering the property the hallway immediately showcases the size, quality and finishes, designed in by BB Builders. The large formal drawing room features high ceilings and of course the turret which ensures the buyer never has to think too hard about where to position a Christmas tree! Also accessed from the hallway, the 2nd of 4 reception rooms, currently utilised as a home office, also a large neutral cloakroom. There is ample cupboard space throughout. The kitchen is spacious, modern, neutral and welcoming and leads to an oversized utility / boot room. The 2nd family room is used by the current owners as their TV room and it is connected to the lounge and dining / sun room. The imperial staircase leads to a spacious landing area giving access to the 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite and the large family bathroom. The 2 principle bedrooms also feature large walk in dressing rooms. Throughout the property which is in immaculate walk in condition the buyer will be impressed by the highest quality workmanship and materials. We also believe that although this home has been occupied by the currently owners for 2 years it benefits from their desire to maintain a neutral palette and from a lack of personalisation. The buyer of 12 McDuff Way will be effectively moving into a new home . We strongly recommend viewing of this wonderful family home.
