Civic recognition for Sue Petty of Your Move Petty Freeman

Following her success in receiving an award from the Mayor of Bexley earlier this month, we are delighted that Sue Petty, of Your Move Petty Freeman, has now won a Civic Recognition award for Outstanding Achievement locally.

Sue attended a special reception hosted by the Mayor, Councillor James Hunt, at his office on the 19th September where Sue was honoured with her award. Guests were also reminded of the significant work she has done to support her local community – all on a voluntary basis and, unlike recent awards, was not specifically related to the Covid-19 crisis.

The Mayor commented on Sue’s success: “Sue has done an incredible amount of voluntary work for the community. She is an integral part of Sidcup and myself and all the councillors can’t thank her enough for all the work she has done and continues to do and will continue to support her good work. Thank you again Sue.”

Sue added: “I’m thrilled to receive this award and I am delighted that I‘ve been able to make a difference to those who may be less fortunate than most in the local community or who simply need a helping hand.

I would like to thank all those who have helped me along the way, particularly my family, and hope that I can continue to support this great local community well into the future.”
